Binaural Beat Brainwave

Written By: admin - Feb• 27•12

The best binaural beats are those that have been designed with a specific purpose in mind so that you can concentrate on the goal that you would like to achieve.

Binaural beats create certain brainwaves in the brain when the listener listens to a sound track in which two different sound frequencies are played at the same time and delivered via stereo headphones.

When you first start out it is a good idea to try to relax and concentrate on the sounds.

Try to eliminate background noises as they can be very distracting and may make it more difficult to achieve the benefits of binaural audio.

Mind Control Binaural is a good binaural audio system that is specifically designed for those that are just being introduced to binaural beats.
Mind Control Binaural will help you to achieve greater control over your mind.

This system uses different binaural beats to help you achieve a specific goal.

Some of the benefits of using this binaural audio system include achieving reduced stress, greater mental focus and concentration and increase memory.

As you brain becomes more accustomed to listening to binaural beats, you will begin to achieve a more intense state of relaxation and you will begin to see the benefits of using binaural audio in your life.

If you are interested in improving your life just by taking some time to relax and enjoy exciting binaural audio tracks, you should try binaural beats.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
Does Binaural Beat Brainwave synchronization music work?if yes then how?

    • ANSWER:
It depends. It may vary from person to person depending on his present mental health. If he is mentally strong, steady and stable, then it may work faster.

  2. QUESTION:
Do Binaural Brainwave Beats really work?
    Do they really work?
Because a site hands them out for money, and it seems from what people have done say that they felt stuff.
But then others say that what they're feeling is just a "Placebo."

PLEASE do not answer straight out of opinion, facts would be REAL nice

    Thanks!

    • ANSWER:
Yes, as a matter of fact they work very well. Brain surgeons entrain their patients during operation using the same exact theory. It is a very effective means of manipulating the mind, and can as such be very dangerous if performed incorrectly.

  3. QUESTION:
Isochronic vs Binaural - Which Brainwave Entrainment Beat/Tone is Better For Stress & Anxiety Release?

    • ANSWER:
Isochronic tones are more powerful as they are engineered as a single tone and don't require a headphone to experience altered states of consciousness.

Binaural beats require a headphone as each beat is played differently to each ear. The combined effect creates a holosync-like environment which leads to enhanced mental clarity, creativity and stress release.

  4. QUESTION:
Where can I find details of past research done on the use of binaural beats for brainwave manipulation?
    Therapeutics and recreational uses especially.

    • ANSWER:
Electroencephalography (EEG) is the scientific name for the technique of measuring brain waves. Go to pubmed.com (a scientific literature search run by NIH) and search for "binaural beat eeg". You should get several studies although you may need to go to a university library to actually get the jounrals. In particular see: Schwartz and Taylor "Human auditory steady state responses to binaural and monaural beats." Clin Neurophysiol. 2005 Mar;116(3):658-68.

      http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=pubmed&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=15721080&ordinalpos=2&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum
      http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=pubmed&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=12722933&ordinalpos=3&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum

      These will be quite technical.
      Good luck.

  5. QUESTION:
How do you make brainwave entertainment like binaural beats or isochnonic tones or monoaural tones?
and how would you know what works?
what programs can be used to make it?

    • ANSWER:
Learn the basic brainwave frequencies. When we feel awake, alert and fairly tense, our brains exhibit Beta wave patterns between 13 and 60 times per second, or hertz. At a more relaxed state, our brains descend into Alpha waves---7 to 13 hertz. When we are deeply relaxed, our brains exhibit more Theta waves---4 to 7 hertz. Anything below that is in the Delta wave frequency, which is the frequency of deep sleep.

Download and install a program that makes binaural beats. Gnaural is a good choice, since it is free, multiplatform and fairly easy to use, but there are other programs.

Right click on the line that begins 0 [Binaural Beat]. This will open a dialog that allows you to select the sound source. By default, Gnaural creates binaural beats in a simple sine wave. You can also select pink noise or a sound file if you prefer.

Look at the frequency graph at the bottom of the page. It has several data points that represent the binaural beat frequencies. Right click on one to change it. You can change the base frequency, the beat frequency and the duration. Change the beat frequency to a level that corresponds to your desired brainwave frequency.

Put on headphones, hit play and close your eyes. Observe how the binaural beats affect your mood and thoughts.

  6. QUESTION:
    Binaural Beats/Brainwave Generator?
Quick question. Is it absolutely nessecary for you to use stereo headphones for the BWG to work (this is for meditation, lucid dreaming, etc)?

    Regular earphones won't do it?

    • ANSWER:
I personally use ear buds because I can't really justify buying a pair of clunky stereo headphones to only use for listening to my Holosync CD's. It's not like I'm going to take a pair of those giant things to the gym with me (even though they are a little smaller than they use to be.) So to answer your question (and trust me, others will tell you different) no, you don't need stereo headphones for it to work. Yes, regular headphones will do it. I'm sure that with stereo headphones, the effect would be better but only slightly.

  7. QUESTION:
What is a good binaural beat program?
I am interested in binaural beats for improving my life and to cure my addictions. Does anyone have brainwave entrainment software which they would recommend?

    • ANSWER:
I used binaural beats to help me to quit drinking and they really helped. There are several products on the market. I purchased Brainwave generator, Brainsound studio and neuro programmer and they are all great programs. There are also some free programs available for example SBagen, Braingym and Gnaural. SBagen is very good but a little tricky to use, The Braingym is a great program for anyone who wants a point and click solution and you can combine your own MP3s, ambient backgrounds on the fly and Winaural is a good open source program. I'd recommend the Braingym because it is aimed at the novice user and is really easy to use and you can do whatever you want with the output.

  8. QUESTION:
Good music using binaural beats for brainwave entrainment (Goa trance or other electronica especially)?
I am a musician of 20 years so I can tend to be a little nitpicky concerning the quality, the genuineness of the music in question. Specifically, I got myself lodged in an orphic trench listening to goa trance, and although I am aware that a good deal of artists use binaural beats to simulate brainwave frequencies I am not sure to what effect, or even where to begin learning about it. Artists I frequently listen to are Prometheus, Astral Projection, Hallucinogen, Etnica, MFG, Chi-A.D., Koxbox, Afgin, Filteria, Blue Planet Corporation and X-Dream.
Anyone know anything specific about a track written by one of these artists or else just got something interesting to say/suggest for the novice?

    • ANSWER:
You could try listening to Frontline Assembly or Front 242.

  9. QUESTION:
I'd like to use binaural beats...or brainwave entrainment?? to improve my personality. Is this possible?
actually id like a certain improvement in a certain part of my personality..like social skills.
    is this possible?
no answers unrelated to the question please.

    • ANSWER:
Binaural beats are used to relax the user so yes, it could make you feel more comfortable in social settings.

  10. QUESTION:
are there any musicians that use brainwave entertainment (binaural beats, isochronic tones etc) in their songs?

    • ANSWER:

  11. QUESTION:
I just downloaded the BrainWave app for my iPod and I want to know if the binaural beats it uses are good?
Basically, I just want to know if the quality of the binaural beats are good enough to actually work. I heard if you have low quality beats your just wasting your time... I only ask because I got from the app store and I ding know if thats actually a good place to buy them lol Anyways the apps name again is Brainwave and thanks!!

    • ANSWER:
It depends on what you want it for. There's some research that says that they can have a relaxing effect (though it's possible that it's just the power of suggestion). What research has been done for other applications (kicking addictions, memory enhancement, etc) has all been inconclusive (and usually poorly done). From a neuroscience standpoint, it's entirely possible that these sounds could alter your brain waves, but on the other hand, it's pretty unlikely that those altered brainwaves would have any useful effect.

In other words, if you just want it to relax, the few bucks you'd drop in the App store might be worth it (at least to see if it works). If you're trying to use it for anything else, then you're wasting your time and money no matter where you buy it from.

      *Edit*
I just checked it out in the App store. There might be something to the "Brainwave Tuner", since it's geared towards relaxation and sleep. The "Brainwave Entertainment" one is a different story. It looks like you can select different tones for different uses (the screenshot includes "Euphoric Serotonin Release", "Addiction Alleviation", "Studying Aid", and "Creativity Increase"). These ones are completely unsubstantiated - there's nothing in neuroscience that would suggest that it *could* work, and the supporters of the idea haven't offered any evidence that it *does* work. Don't waste your money on that one.

  12. QUESTION:
Harmful to listen binaural beats by ignoring our internal clocks?
Someone use Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta, Gamma binaural beats for meditation, since those brainwave can be generated within brain itself, it does not mean they are harmless. When we try to listen to binaural beats for achieve brain status at random period, we will be ignore our internal clock's activities. Nobody knows the side effects on interrupting the internal clock of your body. Does anyone know any guideline when will be the right time to listen specific binaural beats?
Thanks in advance of any suggestions

    • ANSWER:
It is the same as if you said that it is harmful to relax, because our body maybe doesn't want to relax.
Binaural beats can definitely help you achieve certain goal that you want to achieve. It can help you relax when you want to relax, it can help you sleep when you want to sleep but you can't relax. If you are trying to calm your mind that wanders off often and you can't get to the state necessary for meditation, and you listen to meditation beats, it can help you a lot.
Just like you can use relaxing bath to relax, you can use binaural beats.

  13. QUESTION:
    Binaural beat advice?
I'm interested in lucid dreaming and it was inevitable that I find out about binaural beats. I'm thinking about creating my own but I'm not quite sure what brainwaves I should include and for how long. Any advice as to a preferred brainwave progression would be appreciated.

    • ANSWER:
First thing's first: I've been using binaural beats for lucid dreaming, and it's worked wonders for me so far. I personally wouldn't create my own...just go out and purchase high-quality beats that you know for sure are going to work. I got my beats from http://rhythmheal.com/2010/06/20/binaural-beats-lucid-dreaming/ and do not regret the purchase.

I got the binaural beats at first, like what you're interested in, but eventually moved up to isochronic tones as they are a newer technology. Make sure to listen with headphones or else it won't work! The beats on this webpage basically are 45 minutes long and come with ambient music as well that helps you fall asleep on top of the binaural beats. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

  14. QUESTION:
Has anyone heard of iMusic Brainwave Entrainment?
Have any of you heard of or tried "iMusic Brainwave Entrainment", isochronic tones, binaural beats, etc.? Any psychiatrists/neurologists out there?

I've known iMusic for a while now, but have never really tried it.
    http://www.getimusic.com/research/

Is there some truth to their claims? Or is it all corporate B.S.?
    .

    • ANSWER:
I tried something I think is similar. iDoser or something, can't remember the exact name. I tried a few, (had a pirated version so I could listen to any of them unlimited amoutn of times) and honestly nothing happened. All people are different though, who knows for you. The only real thing that happened was I felt like throwing up from one of the lucid dream ones. It sounds really weird though, and a place I don't think anyone has any business poking around in, could lead to brain control or something.

  15. QUESTION:
Is there good audio technology for brain programming or positive affirmations?
I am aware of brainwave entrainment, binaural beats and so on but I'm wondering if there's anything like that for training positivity, success, etc. Anyone know? This would be very helpful.

    • ANSWER:
      sure PetNames there is
As you know entrainment you can use it to affirm any thing
positive self affirmation is one of the most effective techniques to attract happines and to train your subconscious mind
      4. Positive Self affirmation:
plain easy and simple say to yourself:
      I am Happy
      I CAN do it
      I will Succeed
      I am the Best
These positive affirmations has a magical effect on your mind, yes I said MAGICAL, you train your subconscious to believe that you can achieve success and victory whatever endeavor your are after.

  16. QUESTION:
Do the brainwave entrainment systems really work?
There are so many. The isochronic beats, the binaural beats, the Silva Mind Power system and so on. The list is almost endless. But which is better? And more importantly, do they work?

    • ANSWER:
In my experience, they do work. However you need to make sure you have an open mind to it. It's just like anything else really. If you don't believe it will work, or are skeptical, it won't work since your brain is already "turning it off."

Isochronics are the easiest ones to use, since your brain doesn't need to get "adjusted" as quickly as it does with the others. The first time I ever used them, I was able to achieve the desired effects. Depending on what type of you get (different wavelengths trigger different mindsets), you can get ones that help you concentrate, meditate, assist with lucid dreaming and a whole array of other ones.

Many sites offer free samples, so check them out too before spending any money! I'd suggest loading them onto an iPod or MP3 player, finding a quiet spot and giving them a shot.

  17. QUESTION:
    Self Therapy - Brainwave beats?
I wanted to ask you about "Binaural Brainwave Therapy" - do you think products from companies like 'Brain Sync' help at all? Or is it mostly the placebo effect?

    Thanks

    • ANSWER:
The brain is very sensitive. Treat it with respect.

  18. QUESTION:
Question about binaural beats and creative visualization?
As you might be able to tell from my recent posts, I am an avid visualizer. Every morning I do one creative visualization session and use positive affirmations throughout the day. I have been studying and reading the books of such greats like Jose Silva, Bob Proctor, Richard Webster, and more, and one thing that I think all writers within the New Thought Movement have come to a concensus on is that the alpha level brain state, which is the state in which brainwaves run at about 8 to 12 cycles per seconds or hertz, is the best for visualizing and positive self-talk (affirmations). Often times, however, I have a difficult time jumping into and staying in this state because of my chaotic schedule. At the normal level (or what some might call beta, when we're wide awake and functioning throughout or day) I am bombarded with various stimuli like wishes, desires, thoughts, anxiety, brainstorming, etc, which makes it difficult for me to transition into alpha. I recently purchased an mp3 file online which is a binaural beat called "centered meditation", and although it doesn't specifically say that is for helping one get into an alpha brainwave state, it does just that for me when I listen to it. So my question very simply is this: can I listen to this 60 minute long binaural beat while I visualize the things and circumstances that I wish to manifest in my life or not?

    • ANSWER:
      Hi Seeker of Knowledge,

The recording will put your brain in the Alpha state which is ideal for meditation, and you are then best positioned to do your creative visualisation.

Some FAQs on Binaural Beats are:-

      What Are Binaural Beats

Binaural Beats are Not a "New Age" Fad. Binaural Beats have been researched for almost 170 years. The human brain goes through many frequency cycles during each day. Different frequencies produce different effects to the human consciousness. Using this information, it has been discovered that the receiving and operating frequency of the brain can be altered with sound waves. Many of the most powerful brain frequencies are under 20 Hz. Since the ear itself does not respond to frequencies below 20 Hz, Binaural Beat Technology came about which uses the inner wiring of the brain to produce the frequency with perfect accuracy.

      How Binaural Beats Work

Binaural Beats work by broadcasting two separate frequencies in each ear. For example, if you wanted to tune your brain to a 7 Hz frequency, you could play 200 Hz in your right ear, and 207 Hz in your left ear. The brain will compensate for the difference between the two and produce a third tone that will be exactly 7 Hz. This will result in your brain frequency being lowered and tuned to the desired 7 Hz operating stage.

      The Difference Between Recordings

We often receive questions inquiring about the difference between recordings. Many of our descriptions sound alike and people may assume that the recordings are basically the same. This is not the case. Each recording is different, and each recording is tuned for a specific purpose. Example- 4.2 Hz and 6.3 Hz are both within the Theta Range, but exhibit totally different characteristics. The four main frequency classifications are large and vague ranges, and within these classifications are an array of frequency options which all produce different effects. Also, studies show that exact combination of frequencies cause many documented brain reactions. We can not publicly disclose the exact frequencies used in our recordings for product protection reasons, but you can be assured each and every recording is specifically tuned to stimulate certain abilities.

      Difference Between Subliminal And Binaural

Subliminal recordings attempt to program the brain with the use of harmonic sounds and voices alone. Subliminal recordings usually have no immediate effects, and is doubted if they produce any effects at all. Binaural Beats work immediately, and can be felt upon first use. There is proven science behind Binaural Beats and the effects are real. Binaural Beats successfully alter your brains frequencies. Once your brain is in the right state to absorb, subliminal programming is dramatically improved.

      What To Expect

Simply stated, Expect Results. Binaural Beats directly stimulate the brain by altering the operating frequency. Some of the common physical effects are:

      1. The body feeling heavy and the inability to move freely
      2. Total relaxation of the entire body from head to toe
      3. Vivid visualizations, colors, and patterns
      4. Separation of the conscious and subconscious mind
      5. Anxiety, Stress, and Tension Relieved
      6. Feeling of sedation or not feeling the body at all

Every person's brain is different, and every recording we sell uses different frequencies. There is no exact answer to what you will experience. Some minds are more open to suggestion, and some are stubborn. Many people have absolutely "Wild Experiences", while others have more mild effects. Although each of our recordings is specifically designed for a purpose, experiences will differ person to person.

      Are Binaural Beats Dangerous?

There is no proof to suggest Binaural Beats pose any danger to listeners. Binaural Beats use the exact same frequencies that we touch upon everyday in our daily lives. Binaural Beats allow you to reach certain mind levels "On Demand". I suggest persons with heart problems, psychological problems, and other abnormalities consult a doctor before use.

Operating machinery and driving can be dangerous while listening to Binaural Beats. It is recommended to only use Binaural Recordings in the comfort of your own home, or in a safe location.

      Brain Frequency Chart

Extensive credible studies have been done with Binaural Beats in attempts to find out what frequencies trigger brain reactions. These studies have produced incredible results that link metaphysical abilities to exact frequencies. Below is a chart that shows the 4 most common brain wave classifications. Each classification can be broken down into frequencies that each affect a different part of the conscious and subconscious mind. Remember, there are many possible variations within each classification, and studies show certain combinations of these frequencies produce different effects.

  19. QUESTION:
Do CDs/software that claim to change your brainwave patterns to make you feel a certain way, achieve..?
a certain mood or experienceace through the use of binaural beats have any scientific basis?

    • ANSWER:
I don't know. Maybe you can find what you are looking for here: http://www.brainmachines.com/mind-machine/mind-sound-light/index.html

  20. QUESTION:
Do I-Doser and BrainWave Gen actually work?
Based on Binaural Beats, kind of like mediating to static white noise. But do they get you high, or drunk, or abducted by aliens? What would happen if I listened to them while ACTUALLY high on drugs?

    • ANSWER:
I tried the "marijuanna qh" and the "rave". After listening to marijuanna i felt kind of calm, relaxed and happy. After listening to rave i felt elated and had the feeling as if i just had to move and get something to do. so yeah it kind of works, but it doesn't actually simulate the drug but just set the brain waves to a certain level that makes your brain act in a way corresponding to what it acts after taking the actual drug. like for marijuanna they get on a very low level, for rave they get on a higher level. ps: you can download the i-doser and drug files on a lot of torrent sites for free... even the "hand of god" dose which normally costs 200 dollars. it is a nice download and for sure what so ever not wasting time. but be careful: it only works if your mind can get affected by those brain waves because some people's minds just can NOT be affected by binaural beats. mine can be affected very well, i listen to marijuanna a lot and it always helps me to get calm. so yeah i give it 5 chocolate gold stars. however i have not tested what happens if you listen to it while you are actually on drugs (can't afford them ^^) but i can imagine that it would not work because on drugs you can not really concentrate on the beats which is very important (i always close my eyes and massage my temples while listening to it to improve the intense)

  21. QUESTION:
Can i use binaural beats (digital drugs) to balance my personality? i am an INTJ?
Ok, so on the Myers-Briggs personality test my results were that i am an INTJ which stands for Introverted Intuition Thinking Judging. As an INTJ, my energies are turned inward, as opposed to outwards, basically, i am pretty antisocial. apparently im supposed to use extraverted thinking to bring balance to my personality. extraverted thinking involves the perception of the environment (and social environment?) so i have to learn to extend my energy out. INTJs can also isolate themselves somtiems, and i know that i have been isolated for a long time now.

the beta brainwave is associated with sociability, energy, and motivation. it is said that you can use binaural beats to manipulate your brainwaves. one of the benefits of having your beta brainwave stimulated is that you have a stronger awareness of the outside environment. i think this relates to extraverted thinking. i am also depressed because ive been isolated for so long. when you socialize and are happy, your beta waves are active. depressed people have been found to have high alpha wave activate and low beta wave activity.

so logically, if i expose myself to binaural beats everyday that are designed to stimulate my beta waves, then shouldnt i see a reduction in my depression and i will be looking forward to socializing with people more?

    • ANSWER:
This may not be a great answer, or even an answer at all, but.... your logic is sound there. I actually have read a little about bin-aural beats myself, and had been meaning to experiment with it a little, but have forgotten over time to do so.

This reminded me to do that.

      Thanks.

  22. QUESTION:
Are these actually effective? Help i need to study for an important test of my life?
at the end of this year, i have an exam that is really important in my life.
i'm trying to use brainwave entrainment for increasing iq and memory,
but i'm not sure if they'll work or not.

i'm trying to purchase increase iq and memory binaural beats from
    this website, www.store.unexplainable.net/

will they work?? i need some advisable answers please.

and of course i won't rely completely on those. i'll do my best for
    the exam as well.

    • ANSWER:
      almost certainly NOT
there is a possibility since we really do not know much about the brain

IF they were effective here would be serious scientific reports in controlled conditions

it is EXTREMELY UNLIKELY they will work. it sounds like typical money scams

notice the title " unexplainable" that should be your clue

learn general relaxation techniques and use good study practice.

      that varies with the subject

Understanding is much more important then memorization. anything to be memorized should be available in reference books.

  23. QUESTION:
Can listening to brainwave entrainment on "drug" frequencies make you test positive on antidoping tests?
Three days ago I found a binaural beat audio that supposedly mimicked the effects of DMT (dymethyltryptamine) and was curious to it (I have honestly never done drugs or anything, and I thought binaural beats would have far more mild effects and be SAFER) so I tried it. It lasted 30 minutes and I listened to it twice (because I forgot to put my Windows Media player's loop off). It had no effect on me.

I was wrong. It DID have effects on me but like 3 hours later, andI felt sick and was really scared something serious would happen to me. It caused me heart palpitations, insomnia, anxiety, and fast breathing. No hallucinations (thank god), but I could literally feel my lungs and heart on overdrive.

And then TODAY, by pure coincidence, my school did an antidoping test on two random students on a group out of 30--I happened to be one of them out of some horrible luck.

Could I test positive from this? What if the binaural beats didn't just entrain my brain, but caused my body to naturally produce the same chemicals that a drug has when you ingest it? Even if that were true I didn't get hallucinations so at least I wouldn't have reached the threshold where it'd be significant in my urine...but...I really don't know.

I really want to stay out of trouble, this was such bad luck :/ What should I tell the school in case I test positive? I repeat I've NEVER done drugs and I'm definitely NEVER trying that DMT binaural **** again. If they think I have drug problems they will force me out of the school and into a rehab program which I do not even need at all, it would be one big misunderstanding :S

HELP!! I PRAY to God I test negative.

    • ANSWER:
I'm a mental health care work who works primarily with those who have substance abuse problems.

If you didn't take anything, you have no worries. Even if you had, most standard urine tests check for amphetamines, opiates, cocaine, and marijuana, not hallucinogens, and especially not DMT:

  24. QUESTION:
    Brainwave Entrainment?
I've been really tired and "out of it" for a while now, and I'm wondering if it's because of the Binaural Beats I listened to a while ago. Supposedly they make your brainwaves switch to a particular frequency, and I was listening to delta waves which are the really slow brainwaves related to sleeping and unconsciousness. Could listening to binaural beats have a lasting effect like this?!

    • ANSWER:
From my own personal opinion, I think that the brain entrainment which occurs with binaural beats happens because you listen to them often, over a period of time. From the wording of your question, it seems to me you didn't do that. Binaural beats brain entrainment is about achieving balance, not about making a permanent switch of your brainwaves to some specific stationary frequency.

Being "tired and out-of-it" might be any number of different things. If you wanted to explore other binaural beats to get your back to normal, you could listen to something that helps you become more alert, ore one that gives you sustained energy, or maybe another to help you move out of a depressed funk.

  25. QUESTION:
Its frustrating cause no one's answering this question!!!!!!!!!!!?
i recently really got interested in brainwave entrainment like binaural beats, isotonic tones, etc.
which of them should i use to develop my personality? i want better social skills. Can this be achieved through what i listed above? if so, give me an advice on which one to use and also if they have an effect.

    • ANSWER:
      I strongly doubt it.

  27. QUESTION:
    Induce Theta brainwaves via cd?
    Hi,

Ive heard you can use cds to get into the meditative theta brainwave, which are best, cos im finding many different types from binaural beats to other things?

Also how long after putting on headphones does this take?

    thanks x

    • ANSWER:
there's a set of brainwave cd's titled mind voyages try those. not all cd's could be to your taste but there are enough to choose from. the time they take to work depends much on yourself. it's unlikely to work straight away which is why they say to help train your mind voyages. you have to repeat them to train your mind to reach the frequencies

  28. QUESTION:
Is using this thing abainst the Christian Bible?
    http://www.Binaural-Beats.com

I was planning on using "the world's first digital drug" and "razor sharp focus".

Now, this brainwave technology "triggers" the mind into an altered state of conciousness. Now, here is thecontroversy: I saw brainwave products that are supposed to help experience ESP, psychic phenomena, sorcery (controvercial; may not exist) remote viewing, and OOBs, which are all BANNED by the Bible. There are also those that deal with Chakras, and I think Christianity banns that, too. Now this brainwave stuff smell like "new age", which is banned by the Good Book. Obviously, I am NOT going for that deeply spiritual/OOB/meditation stuff. It is probable banned. However, I don't think "digital drug" or "improve memory" are at all related to ESP/new age/sorcery.

Please bear with me. I will also mention that I was once psychic and dabbled in New Age/ESP/psychic ability/mental powers. I learned that God did not condone it, and tried to quit, which took me about a year.
I feel like my psychic (EVIL) ability is not COMPLETELY gone, but it is, nonetheless, diminished and controlled. I am taking every precaution to not accidentally “use” it. What I am afraid of is one of these 2 brainwave harmonics “reactivating” my psychic side, which will be next to impossible to “close” again. However, the intentions of these 2 harmonics are to provide happiness and improve mental ability, which I REALLY want and need. However, once again, what bothers me is that the majority of “brainwave harmonics” sites smell pagan/Buddhist/new age, which I am NOT messing with. But, again, the intentions of these 2 products I mentioned seems harmless… so can you help me make up my mind and tell me if it is “safe” to use them, according to my Christian Orthodox belief system?
I'm in doubt but am eager to boost my IQ/creativity, but am scared of re-opening the psychic alters, which I have worker so hard to suppress.

I also want to try the digital drug...
    Are these things spiritually safe?

    • ANSWER:
I'm slightly confused. If what I understand is true and you are created by god, then he gave you a gift. Wouldn't he condone ridding yourself of his gift?

Someone who is bible-literate should clear up the confusion.

    • ANSWER:
      Oh dear,

Spirituality is born from a personal occurrence with a divine, psychic or mystical experience of one form or another which inevitably connects a person to All that Is/God/Goddess/Allah/Great Spirit /whatever you want to call it.

Religion is second hand opinion of someone else’s divine experience. I think you will find that religions, and especially fanatical religions, tend to separate and divide people, while spirituality brings people together.

Thank God that Spirituality in all its seemingly paranormal forms is on the increase! http://www.psychic-junkie.com

  30. QUESTION:
    i-doser vs the real thing?
I've been doing some research on i-doser and I think the ideas and science behind binaural beats is pretty cool. I've noticed that a lot of people have said that it worked, even people who didn't think anything would happen when they did it. Also there are people who said that it didn't work, even people who said they wanted something to happen.

I've also noticed that people who don't think i-doser works usually tell people who do i-doser to go do the real thing. Ex: If you do i-doser Acid they tell you to go to real acid. If you do i-doser orgasm they tell you to go have sex. What strikes me as odd is a lot of the actions that people tell other people to do that are said to be simulated through i-doser can have very serious consequences so why would someone tell someone else to go do that stuff for real?

Also I was on a site and they said, "Memory enhancing software such as brainwave entrainment has been shown to provide permanent relief to memory problems with absolutely NO side effects." (http://www.binauralbeatsonline.com/binaural-beats-for-memory-enhancement/) I'm still looking into this and while it's great that there may be no side effects the fact that doing it long enough could leave something permanent could be bad. In the case of memory enhancing it's not, but in the case of something else it might be.

    • ANSWER:
I tried it and yea it did work for me i tried a very mild one called Content. The thing is that I-Doser is made by binaural Beats they trick your brain into thinking and producing certain thoughts. Also binaural Beats are a way of hypnosis so it doesn't really work for everybody just like hypnosis. Obviously the real thing is stronger but they come with more risk(addiction, mental disorders, physical disorders etc). I think if you try I-Doser and it works you should try the real thing because its not worth it why would you try something that will give you negative reactions when you can have a sample of it with no negative reactions.

  31. QUESTION:
How do you make brainwave entertainment like binaural beats or isochnonic tones or monoaural tones?
and how would you know what works? and what program would i use to make them?

    • ANSWER:
The best brainwave entrainer is a flat tamborene like drum--hit at about 4 beats per second. Indian shamans use that--I have done that too, The 4 B/S entrains the THETA waves, and lets you go "tripping" to the "underworld."

Modern version----find a small drum on your computer midi system---perhaps a free "Jazzware" program--do a 20 minute file of 4 beats per minute.

    • ANSWER:
Try newer stuff like Talamasca, 1200 mics, Alien project, GMS etc. for techier sounds. Psychill also uses binaural beats.
Btw, your question was (mistakenly?) posted in the religions and spirituality section. While there's a connection between psychedelic trance (goa, if you prefer) and spirituality, I still think it's best to post this in the music section, where people hear "astral projection" and think of an israeli band and not the actual astral projection. :-)

    • ANSWER:
It is called the Placebo effect.
Similarly to people who get sugar pills and feel better, you wanted to feel different after you heard the music, so you did!! yes, the human brain is strange.

      But nothing to worry about.

No you're fine champ. Those things you were experimenting with only alters (usually unsuccessfully) your brain waves. The chemical test on the other hand look for residual chemicals with long half life left over form drug use

    HELP!!
To the first answer - thank you, your answer relieves me, I was freaking out lol.

I had absolutely no other "altering" influence on me other than the binaural beats. no caffein, no anything. I knew I couldn't sleep because of it because I was sleeping totally normally until that day.

btw, binaural beats are not a placebo. Sometimes they are, but they have been studied for decades and well documented to have not only mental but sometimes even physiological effects (as is the effect of meditation, but there are also BBs that stimulate you).

    • ANSWER:
LOL! Don't worry, the effects of "binaurals" are purely a placebo effect and you certainly can't test positive for any kind of drug - even if you did it would be legal!

The binaural probably just put you into a trippy frame of mind and made you imagine something was happening. I'm not sure why you felt unwell but it could be a combination of tiredness, thirst, too much caffeine - that kind of thing.
